T RACE SpA
Has been founded in 2004 thanks to long
experiences of the founders in the field of linear
motion.
The winning idea was to develop an high performances
range of linear rails for the medium precision field
of application using an innovative production
process, providing :
Increased load/moment capacities
Much increased corrosion resistances
Easy assembly
Lower cost
The HQ and the production facility is located in
Ronco Briantino-Milan-Italy, with a 1200 m2 facility. |

The German branch T RACE GmbH was established
in January 2006 and it is located in Burscheid (Düsseldorf).
The facility of 500m2 with good stock and a small
local production, assure good service to direct OEM
customers, along with German distributors.

T RACE SpA Italy - produces a wide range of
linear bearings, with unique design and highly
innovative featurers. The company is organized with
:
- R&D Department: The fundamental part of
TRACE, with more than 20 years exprience in
developing Linear Bearings, based on a C-shaped
cold-drawn profile.
- Our Designers operate CAD 3D Solid Work –
Certified “Solid Work Professional”
- Production: The main manufacturing steps
inside our company are : Rail cutting, honing,
drilling and assembling of finished products as
sliders and telescopics.
The special hardening and corrosion treatments are
outsourced to specific sub suppliers, according to
patented specifications by T-RACE.
The roller-bearings and some other mechanical parts
are produced in China, by our more than 10 years old
reliable suppliers, according to T RACE’s design and
standards of quality.
Our cold-drawn profiles are supplied by a close
world-wide leader of precision profiles.
The production concept allows for a very flessible
and efficient structure and with a relative small
own organization, to assure competitive production
costs and low share of investments.
- Highly modular products: offer the
possibilty to have local production/assembling in
main international markets, with relatively small
investment, to assure fast local deliveries and
eventual minor customization of the products locally.
Internally the company’s IT-system operates on
E.R.P. 2, to assure an integrated processing from
R&D to actual sales.
Since 2006 certified: UNI EU ISO 9001-2000 dal
2006.

Manufacturing processes: Internal production
is mainly related to the rail making and assembling
of the final product, based on modular products.

- Rail cutting, with abrasive disk
- Vertical CNC machines
- Machine for finishing of internal raceways,
- own design.
- Automatic rail straightning equipment
- Assembling desks
- Instruments for preloading of various
products

Quality assurance system: Based on certified
instruments for mechanical dimensional, controls are
made. For inspection of roughness, hardening etc. a
nearby company is involved to assure highly
qualified support .

R&D testing of new products: New products are
internally validated, after dimensional calculation
in own testing rigs. Both static and life-tim tests
are made, for loads within 5000Kg and continous
cycles.

a range of catalogues, flyers and technical

Animated presentation of our unique Self-alignment
is availablle for fast understanding of the
constructional concept of self-alighning with only 1
rail and 2 types of rollers. |

Marketing activities: Since 2006 T RACE is
yearly participating at the international Hannover
and Motek exhibitions in Germany. Along with our
distributors, T RACE is participating in many other
exhibitions in Europe, USA and far East.
Products and company presentation are exposed in
main magazines for the automation component
